The GSL Energy Power storage wall is a long-lasting and safe backup power system. It has a vertical industry integration that ensures more than 6500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge and is made with safe lithium iron phosphate battery cells. Each battery has an independent battery management system that manages power output intelligently and effectively.

The Power storage wall allows customers to customise their capacity needs with its modular design. By connecting a single module with a capacity of 10.24 kWh in parallel, the Power storage wall can deliver up to 163 kW. It is convenient to install and use, with a stylish and compact design that seamlessly integrates into any home setting.

The Power storage wall has an advanced battery management system with protection functions against over-discharge, over-charge, over-current, and high or low temperatures. It is made with high-quality components and meets UL standards. The Power storage wall is compatible with most hybrid inverters and has multiple safety certifications, including UL1642, IEC62619, CE, UN38.3, and MSDS. It can be used for home energy storage systems, solar energy storage systems, solar off-grid backup systems, and solar hybrid inverter UPS. It is compatible with a range of inverters and has a compact size of 200mm in depth, 720mm in height, and 550mm in width, with a wall mounting bracket included.

GSL ENERGY Power Storage Wall is the latest HESS (home battery storage system). It features high energy and power density, and of course a long lifespan. Its easiness of installation and expansion reflect the real requirements of the end users and strong technical capability of GSL. So far, it has served over 500,000 families world wide.

GSL Energy is proudly contributing out strength in changing the way people generate, transfer and store electricity. As of 2022 their products have been commissioned in 138+ countries with more than 5.8 GWh of products of varying types. GSL produced the first battery packs in 2014 these were used in 35 countries.

How safe are LiFePO4 batteries compared to other Lithium batteries?

LiFePO4 batteries are considered safer than other lithium-ion batteries due to their superior chemical and mechanical structure. These batteries do not overheat to dangerous levels and are highly robust in both charged and uncharged states, resulting in stable ion behaviour during the charge cycle. Unlike other lithium chemistries, the iron phosphate-oxide bond in LiFePO4 batteries remains strong even in the event of damage or overcharging, reducing the risk of thermal runaway and fires. Furthermore, LiFePO4 cells are non-combustible and present a lower risk of harm in case of improper handling, short-circuiting, or collision. Additionally, LiFePO4 batteries are more environmentally friendly as they contain no rare earth metals, and are non-toxic and non-contaminating.
